Cyprus among the EU countries with the highest numbers of individuals with University degrees

According to a report by the European Commission, there are considerable disparities between different regions in the European Union regarding the level of education available and the percentage of the population holding a degree from tertiary education institutions. The big divide is among the north and south with southern countries like southern Spain, Portugal and  central/eastern European countries having the lowest ratio of population with tertiary education and the northern European countries, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Northern Spain and the exception of the trend Cyprus.
